Lisbon International Airport Terminal 1
Terminal 1 was constructed on 1942, later in the 2000s the further expansion was implemented, new airbridges and parking positions were constructed, existing terminal structures became more efficiently used, the new metro station was built - Metro de Lisboa, allowing to get easily from the city center to the airport and vice versa. That terminal is responsible for all international and chartered flights, controls both arrivals and departures. Starting from 2013 Terminal 1 went through major renovations- expanded drinks and food area together with the new boarding gates being constructed. The terminal is divided into two check-in halls, the first one contains first 13 check-in desks (1-13 desks) and another one manages the rest of 69 desks (37-89 and 90-106 desks). The general departures area provides 29 gates in general equipped with jet-bridges, 7 of which are targeted to the non-Schengen destinations. The left luggage may be found on the 'left luggage' area available only at Terminal 1 only. The prices for charge vary according to the weight of the luggage left: €3.26 for 10kg and less, €4.83 for 10-30kg and €9.57 for 30kg and more. The parking lot is available at the entrance of the Terminal 1: P1 area at the Departures terminal and P2 at the Arrivals terminal.
